# User guide

## Access and account safety

Open the institution URL, sign in with your assigned account, and complete email
verification. Never share passwords, CBT attendance codes, verification tokens, or
downloaded private records. Use **Profile** to change your password. Report unexpected
account activity to the ICT administrator.

## Student workflow

1. Review **My Record** and contact Registry for incorrect identity data.
2. Use **Course Registration**, add valid offerings, submit, and monitor approval.
3. Open **LMS** for modules, materials, discussions, assignments, and live classes.
4. Use **Examinations** only from a stable connection. Answers autosave; confirm the
saved indicator before navigation or final submission.
5. View published grades under **My Results**.
6. Review invoices and verified receipts under **My Finances**.
7. Request transcripts and retrieve issued documents under **Documents**.
8. Complete unit decisions under **Clearance**.
9. Theological/postgraduate students use **Formation & Research** for chapel,
placements, supervision, versioned manuscripts, and defence progress.
10. Use **Messages and Notifications** for institution notices and private messages.

## Applicants

Register only through the institution-specific application URL. Complete personal,
education, ministry/work, referee, and programme data; upload allowed documents; then
submit. A submitted application is locked unless an officer requests correction.
Admission offers must be accepted before expiry.

## Staff

Lecturers use LMS classrooms, assignments, attendance, CBT, and result workspaces
only for assigned courses. Supervisors review only assigned research students.
Administrative options appear according to the user's role.

## Files and privacy

Private downloads are authorization checked and may be audited. Public verification
pages intentionally show limited identity data. If an upload fails, confirm its
extension, MIME type, and size; do not rename an executable as a document.

## Getting help

Record the page, time, operation, and visible reference number. Do not send passwords,
payment secrets, full medical notes, CBT answers, or private documents in support
messages.
